In Chance, Éléonore continues her intimate and meditative exploration of everyday landscapes transformed by rain.
Here, she captures a familiar tree — one she has observed for years, just steps from her home.
A tree she knows, photographs, watches evolve. A tree that has become almost a confidant.
Under the influence of water, forms dissolve and recompose.
The tree wavers, transforms, caught between flowing currents and visual turbulence.
Black and white enhances this sense of shifting, of controlled blur, where the eye drifts between abstraction and representation.
Éléonore speaks of an enchanted interlude:
space becomes fluid, time is suspended, and the ordinary rises toward the poetic.
The tree, transfigured by rain and gaze, becomes a silent symbol of a deep connection between nature and the personal.
Within the Jeu d’Ô series, Chance may be the most personal image.
It speaks of quiet yet enduring attachment, of a world seen a thousand times — and yet rediscovered, in the fleeting beauty of a given moment.

Pigment inkjet print on Fine Art paper, supplied with Hahnemühle certificate of authenticity.
The print is laminated onto a 2 mm Dibond sheet and mounted in the floating frame to give it visual depth.
The Fine Art print is placed on neutral cardboard, then covered with a 7 cm beveled white mat and anti-reflective, UV-resistant museum glass, before being framed in black aluminum or wood (black, white, oak or wenge).
