October 2023 – Burano, Venice, Italy
In this work from the Colors of Burano series, Sebastien Desnoulez invites us on a chromatic exploration of the famous Venetian island. Here, he isolates a trio of façades, captured vertically in a frontal, precise, and rhythmic composition.
The saturated tones — violet, lemon yellow, burnt orange — compose a vibrant visual score, somewhere between documentary realism and pictorial abstraction. Each façade seems to play its own note, while blending perfectly with the others in luminous harmony.
Behind these painted walls, traces of life accumulate: open shutters, potted flowers, wrought-iron balconies, textures shaped by time. Discreet signs that tell of human presence, while letting the architecture speak for itself.
The photograph becomes a tribute to the quiet joy of simple things — both a celebration of the everyday and a pursuit of graphic balance. A work where color becomes a universal language.
The different types of frames and finishes available
The print comes with its certificate of authenticity and a Hahnemühle hologram affixed to the back.
The framing is left to your discretion.

The floating frame, sleek and modern, is one of the preferred framing choices for contemporary art galleries and museums.
The floating frame perfectly enhances your photographic print.
The spacing between the frame and the image creates a floating effect and highlights the image, making it an ideal art frame to maximize the depth and elegance of the artworks in our collection.
The print is mounted on a 2 mm Dibond panel and placed in the frame.
The depth of the floating frame is 4 cm, and the gap between the photograph and the inner edges of the frame is 0.8 cm for black or white finishes and 1 cm for wood finishes (Oak, Wenge, etc.). This arrangement creates a visually pleasing “floating” effect. Finally, a hanging system is attached to the back of the frame for a quick, easy, and secure installation.

This classic framing combines timeless elegance and sophistication, offering a sublime presentation for your most precious artworks and photographs. A wooden or aluminum frame, chosen for its simplicity and nobility, adds a touch of authenticity and refinement to your piece.
The mat, an essential element of this ensemble, enhances the artwork by creating a visual space around it. It highlights the details and nuances while adding extra depth. Carefully selected, it perfectly complements the artwork without overwhelming it, allowing every detail to stand out.
Finally, the museum glass, of exceptional quality, provides optimal protection against harmful elements such as dust, humidity, and UV rays. With its unmatched clarity and anti-reflective properties, it ensures perfect visibility from every angle, allowing your artwork to shine without distractions.
This harmonious ensemble transforms each piece into a masterpiece, ready to be admired and preserved for generations to come. Investing in a classic frame means choosing to enhance and protect what you cherish with unparalleled distinction.
