Eléonore Mehl
Born in Nancy, in eastern France, Éléonore Mehl grew up in the Paris region before joining the prestigious Gobelins School in Paris, where she graduated in 1988 with a degree in photography – image capture.
She began her career alongside the duo Bernard and Sophie Rossi, founders of Studio Bernard Rossi, renowned for their collaborations with leading agencies and magazines in the fields of still life, object photography, and staged portraits. For nearly ten years, she honed her precision, eye, and mastery of light within this creative environment.
In 1998, enriched by this experience, she set up her own studio and became self-employed. There, she showcased her expertise in large-format photography, specializing in the worlds of beauty and luxury, where she quickly became a reference thanks to her refined and exacting aesthetic.
In 2017, on a rainy day, she captured a fleeting moment with her first iPhone. That spark gave birth to the series “Jeux d’Ô” and marked the beginning of a new artistic journey. Far from the technical constraints of the studio, she embraced this new tool — light, intuitive, and playful — allowing her to express a different facet of her vision: freer, more instinctive, more poetic.
Since then, she has continued this personal work, in the studio or outdoors, as a space for creative experimentation. She explores the magic of the moment, the raw beauty of the world, and the poetry of the real, giving free rein to her imagination and the full richness of her creativity — somewhere between minimalism and pure emotion.
