In this photograph taken near Grey Glacier in Chilean Patagonia, Yves Langlois isn’t chasing the “spectacular” in a tourist sense. Instead, he composes an image of rare presence, where the mountain seems to emerge from a silent world—only to dissolve back into it.
Everything unfolds in the materiality. Snow clings to the ridgelines like a dusting of light, revealing the strata and scars of the rock, while mist wraps the summit in an almost painterly veil. The scene becomes a subtle study in contrasts: sharp mineral forms against air, verticality against erasure, crisp textures against the softness of white.

The Fine Art print is placed on neutral cardboard, then covered with a 7 cm beveled white mat and anti-reflective, UV-resistant museum glass, before being framed in black aluminum or wood (black, white, oak or wenge).
Pigment inkjet print on Fine Art paper, supplied with Hahnemühle certificate of authenticity.
The print is laminated onto a 2 mm Dibond sheet and mounted in the floating frame to give it visual depth.
