The lampost

January 2018 – Vaucresson, France

In Le Réverbère, Éléonore continues her delicate exploration of the imperceptible, capturing the fusion of water, light, and landscape.
She chooses to photograph in black and white, on rainy days — when the world is veiled and familiar landmarks begin to blur.
A modest setup, yet one that becomes a tool for poetically altering reality.

The artist recalls having scouted the location beforehand, returning patiently, waiting for the rain to offer that suspended moment when the visible becomes uncertain.
Several attempts were needed before the image revealed what she had been seeking — without knowing how to name it: a fragile instant where chance becomes substance.

The old streetlamp, a solitary figure at the center of the composition, emerges from a blurred, almost liquid setting.
Rain redraws the contours, familiar references vanish.
Are we in a city, in the countryside, along a forgotten road? The image doesn’t say — it suggests, it invites dreaming.

Le Réverbère fully embodies the spirit of the Jeu d’Ô series: a contemplative gaze, a sensitivity to the fragile, a taste for blurred boundaries between figuration and abstraction.
It is a photograph of silence and waiting — where poetry arises from the simplest… and the most uncertain.

Floating Frame

The floating frame, sleek and modern, is one of the preferred framing choices for contemporary art galleries and museums.

The floating frame perfectly enhances your photographic print.

The spacing between the frame and the image creates a floating effect and highlights the image, making it an ideal art frame to maximize the depth and elegance of the artworks in our collection.

The print is mounted on a 2 mm Dibond panel and placed in the frame.

The depth of the floating frame is 4 cm, and the gap between the photograph and the inner edges of the frame is 0.8 cm for black or white finishes and 1 cm for wood finishes (Oak, Wenge, etc.). This arrangement creates a visually pleasing “floating” effect. Finally, a hanging system is attached to the back of the frame for a quick, easy, and secure installation.

Frame with mat

This classic framing combines timeless elegance and sophistication, offering a sublime presentation for your most precious artworks and photographs. A wooden or aluminum frame, chosen for its simplicity and nobility, adds a touch of authenticity and refinement to your piece.

The mat, an essential element of this ensemble, enhances the artwork by creating a visual space around it. It highlights the details and nuances while adding extra depth. Carefully selected, it perfectly complements the artwork without overwhelming it, allowing every detail to stand out.

Finally, the museum glass, of exceptional quality, provides optimal protection against harmful elements such as dust, humidity, and UV rays. With its unmatched clarity and anti-reflective properties, it ensures perfect visibility from every angle, allowing your artwork to shine without distractions.

This harmonious ensemble transforms each piece into a masterpiece, ready to be admired and preserved for generations to come. Investing in a classic frame means choosing to enhance and protect what you cherish with unparalleled distinction.
