In this work, Sebastien Desnoulez captures one of Burano’s most iconic chromatic harmonies. Magenta pink, bright yellow, deep orange — the façades align with both rigor and boldness, forming a pictorial triptych where each hue asserts its own energy.
The photographer opts for a frontal, unembellished framing where the balance of shapes and colors becomes the very subject. Shutters, doors, and flower boxes serve as visual punctuation marks. And as if in silent echo, the colors reflect in the canal below, creating a second composition — more fluid, more elusive.

Pigment inkjet print on Fine Art paper, supplied with Hahnemühle certificate of authenticity.
The print is laminated onto a 2 mm Dibond sheet and mounted in the floating frame to give it visual depth.
The Fine Art print is placed on neutral cardboard, then covered with a 7 cm beveled white mat and anti-reflective, UV-resistant museum glass, before being framed in black aluminum or wood (black, white, oak or wenge).
