At the heart of the work, two mirrors face each other, reflecting each other ad infinitum. This play of reflections produces a complex and intriguing composition, in which white light spreads out in a brilliant fan. The arrangement of the mirrors multiplies and disperses the rays of light, creating a symphony of clarity and contrast. Light, captured in its purest shades, bursts forth in a series of intersecting and echoing beams, forming elegant, abstract geometric patterns. Shades of gray, from the deepest to the brightest, blend and overlap, creating visual depth and an almost palpable texture. The effect is both hypnotic and poetic. The framing of the mirrors adds an architectural dimension to the scene, with the sharp edges of the reflective surfaces defining the space and guiding the viewer’s gaze towards the infinity of reflections. Every angle, every curve of light unfolds with almost sculptural precision, transforming light into a tangible work of art. The absence of color reinforces the image’s dramatic effect, highlighting the interplay of light and shadow, and underscoring the purity of form. Black and white gives the work a timeless, almost dreamlike quality, where reality and illusion meet and merge. This work was used for the set of the film “Le meilleur reste à venir”, starring Fabrice Lucchini and Patrick Bruel.
The different types of frames and finishes available
The print comes with its certificate of authenticity and a Hahnemühle hologram affixed to the back.
The framing is left to your discretion.
The floating frame, sleek and modern, is one of the preferred framing choices for contemporary art galleries and museums.
The floating frame perfectly enhances your photographic print.
The spacing between the frame and the image creates a floating effect and highlights the image, making it an ideal art frame to maximize the depth and elegance of the artworks in our collection.
The print is mounted on a 2 mm Dibond panel and placed in the frame.
The depth of the floating frame is 4 cm, and the gap between the photograph and the inner edges of the frame is 0.8 cm for black or white finishes and 1 cm for wood finishes (Oak, Wenge, etc.). This arrangement creates a visually pleasing “floating” effect. Finally, a hanging system is attached to the back of the frame for a quick, easy, and secure installation.
This classic framing combines timeless elegance and sophistication, offering a sublime presentation for your most precious artworks and photographs. A wooden or aluminum frame, chosen for its simplicity and nobility, adds a touch of authenticity and refinement to your piece.
The mat, an essential element of this ensemble, enhances the artwork by creating a visual space around it. It highlights the details and nuances while adding extra depth. Carefully selected, it perfectly complements the artwork without overwhelming it, allowing every detail to stand out.
Finally, the museum glass, of exceptional quality, provides optimal protection against harmful elements such as dust, humidity, and UV rays. With its unmatched clarity and anti-reflective properties, it ensures perfect visibility from every angle, allowing your artwork to shine without distractions.
This harmonious ensemble transforms each piece into a masterpiece, ready to be admired and preserved for generations to come. Investing in a classic frame means choosing to enhance and protect what you cherish with unparalleled distinction.
